Watercolour on cold pressed Arches.
I met this man in Ardara, Donegal. I thought he had an interesting face.
I used Windsor and Newton watercolours on Arches 300lb paper because it doesn’t need stretched. The drip running over his face is symbolic. He is from the North West of Ireland which has the most rainfall. The people shape the land but the land and weather shape them.
